Man's body discovered at house in Camborne

Police have confirmed the 48-year-old's death is currently being treated as unexplained

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed the death of a man whose body was found at a house in Camborne is being treated as unexplained.

Officers were called to a property on Church View Road on Saturday morning, after a call from a member of the public.

Local residents reported seeing multiple police vehicles and forensics at the scene just after 9am.

On Sunday 23rd January, police confirmed the discovery of a 48-year-old man's body.

They say his family have been informed, and are being kept up-to-date as investigations are carried out.

In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said: "At 9am on Saturday January 22nd, officers attended the area of Church View Road in Camborne following a report from a member of the public.

"The body of a male, aged 48-years-old, was located. The death is currently being treated as unexplained while investigations are carried out.

"The family of the man has been informed of his death and officers are keeping them informed concerning the progress of the investigation".
