A woman from Cornwall who's paralysed from the neck down is supporting a charity that's helped her - by doing the zip wire at the Eden Project.

Sarah Barker will be taking on the challenge in March, to support the charity the Back Up Trust.

When she was 18 months old, Sarah had an accident which resulted in her being paralysed from the neck down and permanently on a ventilator.

Now, at the age of 39, she plans to fly through the air, suspended alone and without her ventilator – which she says is a scary but exciting prospect!

She tells us, "I've been practising taking breaths for myself and building my time up, hopefully everything's organised so I'm off it for the least time possible

"Yeah, I am quite nervous, but it's all in aid of charity!"

"Nothing should stop you from trying"

The main objective of the event is to raise as much money as possible for the Backup Trust who provide support to those affected by Spinal Cord Injury.

They help those who are newly injured overcome barriers and empower them to live life to their full potential.

Sarah told us, "I like to challenge myself and I like showing people that despite being disabled you can still do things, and nothing should stop you from trying".
