There are plans to step up police patrols around Hayle amid increasing reports of antisocial behaviour.

Officers say people have been congregating and damage has been caused in the Millpond Gardens area.

The public are asked to remain vigilant.

People are being urged to report any cases and take descriptions, or call 999 if an offence is taking place.

"We have received reports of anti-social behaviour taking place in the area of Millpond Gardens, Hayle.

"Damage has been caused and persons congregating.

"We aim to increase patrols but ask for the public to be vigilant and report any anti-social behaviour by phoning 999 if it is taking place at the time.
