Four youths have appeared in court, accused of assaulting a homeless man at a car park in Truro.

The teenagers are charged with attempting to cause GBH with intent following an incident at Moorfield back in February.

The four, aged between 14 and 17, pleaded not guilty during a hearing at Truro Youth Court on Wednesday 17th August.

They were granted bail and are due to stand trial at the same court in September.

A total of seven people were arrested in connection with the incident, one of whom was later released with no further action to be taken against them.

Two teenage girls have had their cases deferred for Youth Offending Service intervention.
