Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an urgent appeal to find a missing pensioner.

78-year-old Gillian Eatock has links to Camborne, as well as Buckfastleigh in Devon.

Officers say there was a possible sighting in Newton Abbot town centre on Tuesday afternoon (22nd March).

Gillian is described as 5ft 6' with short ginger hair and glasses and was last seen in a green jacket and bright orange trousers.

Officers say concerns are growing for her welfare and anyone who sees Gillian is being urged to call 999 straight away.

In a statement the force said: "Police are concerned for the welfare of missing person Gillian Eatock, aged 78 years old.

"She has links to Camborne and also the Buckfastleigh area of Devon.

"There was a possible sighting in Newton Abbot town centre during the afternoon 22nd March.

"Gillian is described as a white female, 5ft 6ins tall with short ginger hair & glasses.

"She was last seen wearing a green jacket, bright orange trousers and carrying a handbag.

"Should Gillian be sighted, please ring 999 and quote log reference number 707 of 22/03/22".
