Fears are growing for the safety of a woman who was last seen on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula.

Caroline Fisher was reported missing from Cheltenham and has not been spotted since Friday morning.

Police say Caroline's distinctive Mini Cooper was discovered at Porthcurnick Beach.

The 62-year-old is described as 5ft 4ins, slim and with short, dark hair.

Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone who sees Caroline or who might know her whereabouts to call 999 straight away.

In a statement released on Sunday, the force said: "Police are concerned for the welfare of 62 year old Caroline Fisher, who has been reported missing from the Cheltenham area.

"Caroline was last seen on the Roseland Peninsula 11am Friday 28th January 2022.

"She is described as a white female, 5ft 4ins, slim build, with short dark pixie cut hair.

"Caroline’s distinctive turquoise Mini Cooper, registration VE17MKZ, has been located at Porthcurnick Beach.

"If you have seen Caroline, or know of her whereabouts, please call police immediately on 999, quoting log number 0172 of 30/01/2022.

"Please also call if you have any information which may help us locate Caroline".
