A world record attempt to stand-up paddleboard the circumnavigation of Great Britain has reached Cornwall.

Hunted and Celebrity Hunted star Jordan Wylie journey, which commenced in Essex on Sunday, July 26, will cover more than 2,000 miles.

Wylie, is aiming to inspire young people by building a school for refugees on the Horn of Africa that have been displaced by the conflicts in Yemen and Somalia.

He hopes The Great British Paddle can contribute towards the £100,000 plus he has already raised in the last year to finish the school build which is now well underway.

In addition to this, Wylie is aiming to inspire other teenagers to put their phone and tablets down to inspire young people around the world using the spirit of adventure in his role as the UK’s national ambassador for Army Cadets with The Great British Paddle.

Whylie, who served 10 years in the British Army, supported by an experienced team of world class professionals including world record breaking sailor Alex Alley who is skippering the support boat and acting as the overall project manager.
