One dead in Carlisle house fire

A person's died in a house fire near Cumbria.
Cumbria & Fire Rescue Service wrote on X that they were called to property on Brisco Road, Brisco, at 10:29am on Saturday.
Crews from Carlisle East, Penrith and Brampton attended the incident.
The service said the fire resulted in a person's death, adding "their deepest sympathies to those affected."
Cumbria Police have been contacted for further comment.
