Police appeal for information following a fatal collision on A595
Officers say a man was pronounced dead at the scene near Sellafield
Police have confirmed that a man has died following a single vehicle collision on the A595 near to Sellafield, Egremont.
Police were called shortly after 5am today (21st March) with a report of a collision involving a single vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and there were no other reported injuries.
The A595 was closed between Blackbeck roundabout to Yottenfews roundabout.
