Two women seriously hurt in West Cumbria crash
Accident happened in the early hours of this morning
Police were called at 3:12am this morning to the report of a single vehicle road crash, which happened on the road between Broughton Moor and Little Broughton.
Police, ambulance and fire services attended the scene.
Four people were travelling in the vehicle.
Two women, one in their 50s the other in their 60s suffered injuries described as serious.
Two men, one in their 50s the other in their 60s suffered minor injuries.
They were taken to the Cumberland Infirmary
The road was closed whilst enquiries took place.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact police.
