Cash for Kids helping multiple causes this year
Throughout the pandemic, Cash for Kids has helped thousands of local children through various campaigns and causes.
We are pleased to announce our scheduled grant rounds for 2022. Application forms to the relevant campaigns will open closer to the suggested dates below. Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates.
Cash for Kids Day
As we come out of the pandemic, the world is an incredibly difficult place for so many of the families that Cash for Kids supports. Energy price increases, cost of living increases, benefit system changes and the post-Covid impact, means more families have been tipped into poverty. Many have now reached crisis point, facing the very real choice of whether to 'heat or eat'.
Continuing the support we have offered since the start of the first lockdown in 2020, Cash for Kids will again this year commit to one hundred percent of all the funds raised being used to help families in need.
Cash for Kids Day is raising funds on Hallam FM and Greatest Hits Radio on Friday 27th May. Applications for this grant round will open in early June.
Sports Challenge
Since 2018, Cash for Kids have granted over £300,000 to grassroots sports clubs to help fund kit, equipment and subsidised costs of participation for disadvantaged children.
Applications for 2022 sports challenge open on Monday 22nd August.

Schools Challenge
Since 2018, Cash for Kids have granted over £100,000 to local schools to help fund books, educational equipment and other projects to help disadvantaged children.

Mission Christmas
In 2021 we provided Christmas presents for almost 23,000 thousand local children.
Charities and organisations working on behalf of vulnerable and disadvantaged children can apply for toys when applications open from mid-October. Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates.
