Enquiries underway after Wirksworth collision
It happened on Monday afternoon
A woman has been left with serious injuries following a collision in Wirksworth.
The incident occurred at 4.25pm yesterday (1 August) at the Market Place and involved a collision between a pedestrian, a woman in her 50s and a Skoda Yeti car, driven by a woman in her 60s.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The driver of the Skoda is helping officers with their enquiries and investigations continue into the circumstances of the collision.
Any drivers who were in the area at the time and have any dashcam footage that may be of help to officers is asked to contact Derbyshire Police.
