Police name mother and son killed in North Derbyshire crash

Police have named a mother and son who died following a crash in North Derbyshire on Saturday (November 9).

59-year-old Angela and Stephen Boyack, 22, from South Shields, were travelling along the A632 Chesterfield Road when they were involved in a collision at Span Carr.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, driving while unlicensed/uninsured, failing to stop and failing to report a collision.

A 40-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with the collision, and has been released on bail as investigations continue.
