Ridgeway Beer Festival returns this year

Money raised from family fun day is supporting Cash for Kids

Author: Molly Jones Coffey

Ridgeway Beer Festival makes it's return following the pandemic and four pubs in the Derbyshire village are welcoming families from across the region to join in a day of fun and activities.

The four pubs; The Queens Head, The Swan Inn, The Phoenix and The Bridge Inn, based on White Lane, Main Road and Ridgeway Moor in the village are collaborating together to raise funds for this years chosen charity Cash for Kids.

The festival has raised thousands in previous years and punters can take part in raffles, games, football cards and cash collections with lots of prizes available.

The festival this year is on Saturday 21st May and runs throughout the day, with each pub providing live music. Visit their respective websites and social media pages for more details and event updates.

Thank you to the organizing committee for selecting Cash for Kids as this years chosen charity. Funds raised will be supporting a variety of causes helping local disadvantaged children including poverty.

If you have an event and would like to support Cash for Kids, please email cashforkids@hallamfm.co.uk to speak to the team.
