Horse suffers serious injury after dog attack in Barnstaple

A horse has been seriously injured after being attacked by a dog in Barnstaple.

Devon and Cornwall Police have issued an appeal after the reported incident.

It happened while a teenager was riding in Shirwell on Sunday November 7, 2021.

Any witnesses or those with CCTV that could help identify the dog's owner are asked to contact police.
