Westbourne barbershop targeted in burglary

A till with money and receipts inside was taken by thieves

A barbershop in Westbourne's been targeted in a burglary, with a till containing money and receipts taken.

Thieves broke into Bond's on Seamoor Road between 1.00 and 6.00am on Saturday (11th May).

The stolen till was later found abandoned in Alum Chine Road.

PC John Barron, of Bournemouth police, said:

“An investigation is underway to identify those responsible for this burglary and an examination of the scene has been carried out.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage.”
