This year's Bournemouth Air Festival is being hailed a huge success.

More than 600,000 people watched four days of displays (Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th September).

Dorset Police have also been sharing their thanks to spectators for 'making this year's event safe and enjoyable'.

The force carried out extra patrols by officers, firearms units, specialist dog teams and the marine policing unit throughout the event.

Organisers have announced next year's festival will take place between the 31st August and 3rd September 2023.
