Police linking two burglaries in Bournemouth

Jewellery was taken in both cases in Westbourne

Police in Bournemouth are linking two residential burglaries in four days, both in the Westbourne area.

The first happened between 4.00pm and 7.00pm on Portarlington Road on Tuesday last week (14th November).

A second incident's been reported in Clarendon Road, between 1.50pm and 5.30pm on Friday (17th November).

In both cases, jewellery was stolen.

PC John Barron, of Bournemouth police, said:

“We are conducting enquiries into both incidents and would ask anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the Westbourne area in recent days to please come forward.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen quantities of jewellery for sale in unusual circumstances.”
