12-year-old boy attacked by gang of teenagers in Shaftesbury
The assault happened in the middle of the afternoon
Police are investigating an attack on an 12-year-old boy in Shaftesbury.
He was assaulted by a group of teenagers near the Royal Chase Hotel in Christy's Lane.
Dorset Police were called to the incident at around 3.12pm on Tuesday (14 June).
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"It is reported that the victim – a 12-year-old boy – was assaulted by a group of teenagers. Officers are carrying out enquiries into the report. No arrests have been made."
