A boy's been taken to hospital after being bitten by a dog on Portland.

The 11 year old was with his mother near the stone carvings in Tout Quarry at around 5.00pm on Thursday 10th August, when he was bitten on the arm.

The dog, thought to be a long-haired grey and black border collie, was with two men in their 50's.

Both of them are described as wearing lycra tracksuits, and one of the men had a short beard.

Dorset Police are looking to trace the dog and its owners.
