Boy rescued after getting stuck in mud in Weymouth
Firefighters were called to Lodmoor Nature Reserve
A boy has been rescued after getting stuck in mud in Weymouth.
Fire crews were called to Lodmoor Nature Reserve by Dorset Police at around 6pm last night. (20 April)
When they arrived officers had already managed to free him.
A spokesman for Weymouth Fire Station said:
"Deep mud can be a serious hazard and it is very easy to become stuck.
"The advice is to stay on the track near waterways and lakes and keep dogs away from the mud at all times."
