Image appeal following burglary in Wimborne

Officers have released this picture of an electric bike that was stolen

An image of a stolen bicycle has been issued following a burglary in Wimborne as Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Between 2am and 3am on Saturday 4 June 2022 entry was gained to a garage at an address in Foxcroft Drive in the Canford Bottom area.

A Focus Jam 2 2019 6.7 plus electric bike in grey and black was stolen. The owner states that there is a distinctive chunk of paint missing on the right seat stay tube, which is covered with black tape.

Police Constable Joshua Pickering, of Bournemouth police, said:

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“As part of my enquiries I am issuing an image of the stolen bike and would ask anyone who has seen it for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please come forward.”
