A large quantity of cannabis plants and equipment has been found dumped in a hedge in Dorset.

The discovery was made by a member of the public.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:

"We were called at 5.58pm on Saturday 7 May 2022 to reports that a member of public had found a quantity of boxes containing suspected cannabis plants that had been dumped in hedgerow off Valley Road in Tarrant Keyneston.

"Items have been seized. Enquiries are underway to establish where they may have come from. No arrests have been made."
