CCTV appeal after man pushed into lift in Bournemouth

A man has suffered a head injury after being pushed into a lift in Bournemouth.

Dorset Police say it's reported that at around 3.30pm on Monday 5 February 2024 a man was assaulted at the Dalkeith Arcade in Old Christchurch Road.

It's believed the victim – a man in his 60s – was involved in an altercation with another man before he was pushed into a lift.

He sustained minor head injuries.

Police Constable Robert Roaf, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and we have been carrying out CCTV enquiries in the area.

“I am now in a position to issue an image of a man I would like to identify and would ask anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
