CCTV appeal after woman racially abused on Bournemouth bus

Police say its had a significant on the victim, a young women in her 20's

Police have released an image of a woman they want to talk to after another woman was racially abused on a bus in Bournemouth.

At approximately 3.45pm on Thursday 14 December last year, it is reported that a woman racially abused a young woman aged in her 20s while travelling on the number 13 morebus.

Police Constable Michelle Yarrow, of Dorset Police, said: “This was an extremely upsetting incident for the victim, which has had a significant impact on her.

“We take reports of hate crime seriously and will do all we can to support victims and identify potential offenders.

“As part of my enquiries, I am now in a position to issue an image of a woman I would like to speak to. I would ask anyone who recognises her to please get in touch.”
