A cyclist has suffered a broken wrist, after he was involved in a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth.

It involved the rider and a white car on St Michael's roundabout at around 10.50pm on Friday (17th November).

The vehicle briefly stopped and offered help to the victim, in his 20s, but then left the scene without leaving details.

PC Ran Hartman-Turner, of Bournemouth police, said:

“The driver of a white taxi stopped at the scene to help the victim.

“He had left the scene before police arrived and we are keen to speak to him as he may have information to help my enquiries.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone else who may have witnessed what happened or captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
