Police break up house party in Dorset
Officers find 70 people at an address in Bournemouth.
An illegal house party has been broken up in Dorset.
Police were called to an address in Winton in Bournemouth on Saturday night. (5 September)
They found 70 people there.
It goes against current Coronavirus restrictions which ban gatherings of over 30 people.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"It is reported that there were approximately 70 people at the party and some were outside on the street.
"Officers attended and engaged with the group, providing advice about the current COVID-19 restrictions.
"The group immediately dispersed from the area.
"Enforcement will only be used as a last resort."
