E-bike stolen from racks in Weymouth town centre

The bike and a helmet were taken from New Bond Street

An e-bike's been stolen from Weymouth town centre, after having been locked up to a rack in New Bond Street.

The victim left the bike, and a helmet, behind TK Maxx and The Range at around 11.30am on Saturday 7th October.

When they returned an hour later, the black Cube Touring Hybrid Pro bike and the helmet, were both missing.

PC Lily Cambridge-King, of Weymouth Police, said:

“We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone with information relating to who might be responsible to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across a bike matching the description being offered for sale locally or online in unusual circumstances.”
