Emergency services called to a four vehicle RTC in Morcombelake

Police, Fire and Ambulance services were all in attendance

Emergency crews were called to a four vehicle Road Traffic Collision in Morcombelake on Friday night.

Fire crews from Briport and Charmouth Fire Station were mobilised to ensure the area and all vehicles were safe to allow the ambulance personnel on scene to release the casualty from the vehicle.

One person was medically trapped.

Bridport Fire Station have now shared on their social media a list of what to do If you're involved in or stop to assist at an RTC.

Guidance includes using your hazards to alert other drivers and not removing injured people from their vehicles unless they are in immediate danger from fire or explosion.
