Police in Beaminster are looking to trace a driver in connection with a fail-to-stop collision.

A crash happened in The Square at around 6.30pm on Saturday evening (18th November).

A black Toyota Yaris and a dark silver Land Rover were involved.

The young male driver of the Land Rover got out to ask if the Toyota driver was OK, and said he'd move his vehicle.

But he instead drove away from the scene in the direction of Bridport, without leaving any details.

PC Dan White said:

“I am carrying out an investigation and would ask witnesses, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please come forward.

“Also, I am appealing to the driver of the Land Rover to please get in touch so we can take your account of what happened.”
