Weymouth FC have welcomed a special guest to their stadium - after the match with Yeovil Town was called off on Easter Monday.

An air ambulance was called out after away supporter Hayley Singleton fell ill in the 77th minute of the game.

The helicopter landed on the pitch to take Hayley to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester.

The match was abandoned with Weymouth winning 1-0 at the time.

On social media, the Terras say she's come returned to the Bob Lucas today (Thursday 4th April) with her husband and their son to thank everyone involved in her care.

The club's wished Hayley well in her recovery.

The game is also under investigation from the National League and the FA.

Further details on whether the game will be replayed will be passed on to supporters once that's concluded.

Yeovil Town are also supporting Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, following the incident and the care they gave to Hayley.

Bucket collections will be held at their next match:

Weymouth are now 15th in the National League South on 51 points, 11 clear of the relegation zone with six games left to play.

They next play away at Eastbourne Borough on Saturday (6th April).
