Horse rescued from a river by Bridport firefighters
It had become trapped in the river at Pymore.
Firefighters from Bridport were called out to an unusual rescue yesterday.
A horse had become trapped in the river at Pymore.
A spokesman for Bridport Fire Station said:
"Two crew members donned their water wading gear and entered the water, attached a line to the horse and after a few attempts managed to manhandle the horse past the obstacles and guide it back to safety.
"A vet attended and checked over the horse which was found not to have any injuries."
