Police are launching an investigation after the discovery of an injured man in Bovington

The discovery of an injured man in Bovington has sparked an investigation from Police.

Armed Police were called to the town yesterday after the man was found in Cologne road.

He was taken to hospital and his injuries are not being described as serious.

A police spokesperson said:

"Dorset Police received a report at 3.43pm on Monday 6 June 2022 that a man had been found with injuries in Cologne Road in Bovington. Officers attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not described as serious.

"An investigation is underway, including house-to-house visits and CCTV checks. No arrests have been made at this time."
