Major regeneration plans have been revealed for Boscombe, with local residents being asked to give their views.

The plans include green spaces, family and affordable homes a new community centre and improvements to transport along with cycle and pedestrian access.

They are being funded by the Government as part of its Towns Fund.

A four-week consultation was launched on Monday (June 13th), with people able to give in their views in person at the Engagement Hub in the Royal Arcade between 10am and 2pm Tuesday to Thursday.

BCP Council's deputy leader Phillip Broadhead said:

“The next steps in the regeneration of Boscombe are vital and we want to take this forward with the community.

"We will then drive the regeneration to create a revitalised and vibrant town, whilst preserving the area’s unique character and heritage, promoting future investment and strengthening the sense of pride amongst our residents.”
