Man found dead off Portland Beach Road
Dorset Police received a call about concerns for a man in his 70s.
A man in his 70's has been found dead in a car park off Portland Beach Road.
He was found on Monday evening after calls to Dorset Police with concerns about the man.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said:
"Officers carried out enquiries and located the man in a car park off Portland Beach Road. The ambulance service attended and very sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His family has been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time. There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death and HM Coroner has been notified."
