Man released in connection with Swanage sexual assault
Police say the investigation into the matter has concluded.
A man arrested in connection with a reported sexual assault in Purbeck will face no further police action.
The incident was reported to have occurred during the night of Wednesday 15 July 2020 into the morning of Thursday 16 July 2020 in the area of Durlston Country Park near Swanage. It was reported that a woman aged in her 20s was sexually assaulted by a man.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and was released on police bail. He was subsequently released under investigation as enquiries continued but has now been released from the investigation and will face no further police action.
The investigation into this matter has now concluded.
