Police attend Wey Valley Academy to deal with anti-social behaviour

A small group have been directing anti-social behaviour at staff, pupils and parents at Wey Valley Academy

Police have been called to a school in Weymouth, following repeated complaints of anti-social behaviour by a small group, directed towards staff, pupils and parents.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team attended Weymouth Valley Academy on Friday. ( 8 October)

3 people were moved on by officers.

A spokesperson for Weymouth & Portland Police said:

" Officers will continue to offer a presence at the school to support staff and we will look to use powers under section 35 and 37 of the anti social behaviour, crime and policing act 2014 to disperse them from the area and seize any items used to cause ASB in future."
