Officers investigating an assault in Poole are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

It is reported that at around 4pm on Saturday (1 January) the victim – a local woman aged in her 50s – was approached from behind by a man and pushed with force while in the Dolphin Shopping Centre outside H&M.

Police say the man subsequently apologised and the victim walked away.

The victim sustained an injury to her left arm that did not require hospital treatment.

Police Constable Cara Bradley, of Poole police said: “Following our initial enquiries, we believe the man deliberately pushed into the victim, leaving her feeling very distressed after the incident.

“I am issuing an image of a man I would like to speak to and would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who was in the shopping centre at the time and witnessed what happened.”
