The search is on to find local people to star in a film that's shooting on Portland as producers are on the lookout for extras

The film is set to be distributed across festivals in the UK and Europe and will be filmed on the island between the 22nd of May to the 26th of May.

The filmakers are looking for a handful of extras to be involved in a couple of scenes on those days.

The film is an Arthouse short following a bereaved husband scouring the coast for his missing wife only to happen upon a revelation that may force him to call off the search.

They are currently looking for a young boy aged 18 but can play at a younger age, a middle-aged to the older group of diners and a couple walking along a beach.

The producer says they have been making films since 2020 and produced their first feature film in 2021 starring high profile British talent such as Stephanie Beecham, Harry Kirton (Peaky Blinders), Elizabeth Berrington (Spencer, Last night in Soho), and Eloise Smyth (Harlots).
