Two people arrested in connection with Bournemouth stabbing

Detectives investigating a stabbing in Bournemouth have arrested a man and a woman.

A 37 year old woman and a 21 year old man, both from Bournemouth, are being questioned on suspicion of GBH with intent.

It comes after a woman was found with stab wounds in Rochester Road in West Howe at around 12.30am yesterday (Monday 29th April).

She was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment for injuries that aren't thought to be life-threatening.

Detective Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of BCP CID, said:

“This has been a fast-moving investigation and we continue to carry out enquiries into this incident. I would like to repeat my appeal for anyone with information that might assist us to please come forward.

“There will continue to be an increased policing presence in the vicinity and members of the public can approach officers if they have any information or concerns.”
