Two men injured after brawl between two groups in Blandford

Two men have been taken to hospital after a fight between two groups of people in Blandford.

Dorset Police received a report at around 2.25am on Sunday 21 April of a fight between The Crown Hotel in West Street and The Greyhound in Market Place.

Officers attended and spoke to the groups at the scene. During the incident, one man sustained a fractured eye socket and a second man sustained facial injuries. They both attended hospital for treatment.

Police Constable James Owen, of North Dorset police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish what happened and would ask any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please come forward.

“If you have information about those believed to be involved, please get in touch.”
