Weldmar's Music by the Lake to return in 2024
The line-up of tribute acts at Dorchester Showground has been announced
Weldmar Hospicare have revealed the line-up for next summer's Music By The Lake.
The Spice Girls, Pink and Robbie Williams open the fundraiser at the Dorchester showground on Friday 5th July 2024.
ABBA, Madonna and Duran Duran all take to the stage on Saturday 6th, with Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross and Lionel Richie performing on Sunday 7th.
And yes they are all tribute acts!
Last year's event raised £45,000 for Weldmar, towards their specialise end of life care for people in Dorset, as well as support for their families.
Matt Smith chairs the organising committee, and said:
"This will be the third Music By The Lake event to be held at Dorchester Showground, and it gets bigger and better year after year. We are so excited about our line up of acts, as there is certainly something for everyone.
"We're proud that Music By The Lake is getting a reputation as a safe, fun, family friendly event with brilliant live music and a great atmosphere, which is becoming the flagship fundraising event of the year for Weldmar Hospicecare."
