Weymouth fish and chip shop named one of the best in the country
And it's not the only award that Fish n Fritz have been served up
They have been named one of the UK’s 10 Best Fish & Chip Restaurants and were also announced as one of the UK’s 50 Best Fish & Chip Takeaways 2021/2022 at the same time.
Fish ’n’ Fritz are the only chippy in the Weymouth to make the prestigious list for takeaways and the only restaurant to make the 10 Best list in Dorset. The accolade follows an extensive search by leading trade publication Fry Magazine to find those chippies serving up the finest fish & Chips in the UK.

With the pass mark set high, Fish ’n’ Fritz scored impressively with the mystery diners for both awards, particularly praising their chips and the size of their fish.
Paul Hay, owner of Fish ‘ n’ Fritz, on receiving the news, commented: “We must once again thank Fry Magazine for the opportunity to allow Fish ’n’ Fritz and many, many other fish and chip shops around the country to take part in such a prestigious annual award such as this.
