Wilko has announced it's opening a new store in Poole.
The brand is coming back to the Dolphin Centre as part of a national roll-out of new Wilko stores.
Work will begin soon at the Dolphin Centre site and the store launch date will be announced shortly, alongside news of further openings during 2024.
The announcement in Poole follows successful concept store launches in Plymouth, Exeter and Luton, with stores in Rotherham and St Albans set to open this spring.
The store opening programme, which will include the brand reaching high streets in Northern Ireland for the first time, accompanies the relaunch of wilko.com.
John Grinnell, centre manager at The Dolphin Poole said:
"We are delighted to welcome WILKO back to The Dolphin Poole, enhancing the centre’s offering to the whole community.
"WILKO will prioritise the re-hiring of former staff who apply for jobs, and we are encouraged that this will support members of the team affected by the original closure of the store at the end of 2023.
"We know that visitors will be looking forward to WILKO returning to The Dolphin Poole and we will be sharing further details about the store once they are available."
