Woman assaulted in Sherborne incident
A 54 year old man has been arrested in connection
A woman's been assaulted in Sherborne, with a man arrested in connection with the incident.
The victim, in her 50s, suffered bruising in the attack on Horsecastles Lane at around 11.00am on Thursday 26th October.
Officers tell us a 54 year old man from Sherborne, arrested on suspicion of assault, is known to her.
He's been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Liam Moss, of Dorset County CID, said:
“We have now obtained further details from the victim about the reported incident.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw what happened, or may have captured anything on CCTV or dashcam footage, to please get in touch.”
