Scottish Water is warning Annan residents and road users of the works to repair a 1000m sewer pipe four metres below the surface.

The work is to commence on Monday 8th January and is to last for four weeks.

It has been confirmed that a lane closure and temporary 3-way lights will affect the junctions of Battery Street, Port Street and High Street.

The damage of the sewer will dictate if the road will need to be fully closed off or not.

All access to businesses and properties will remain open as usual.
