Concern grows for missing man in Kelloholm

The Ayrshire man’s disappearance has been described as “completely out of character”.

Police are appealing for information about a man who was last seen in the Kelloholm area of Dumfries and Galloway.

31 year old Ross Noble, was last seen around 6pm on Thursday, 16 May, 2024, wearing a grey t-shirt with grey jogging bottoms and black trainers.

It is possible he could also be wearing a red and black rain jacket.

Noble, who is from Girvan, Ayrshire, is described as white, with black hair, and around 5ft 8in with a slim build.

Sergeant Lindsey Tait from Lockerbie Police Station said: “It is completely out of character for Ross not to keep in contact with his family and friends and we are extremely concerned for his safety and wellbeing.

“Searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace Ross as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Ross or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us through 101 quoting reference number 3485 of 15 May.”
