Man arrested following reported shooting in Evington Road
He was arrested on Friday.
A 29 year old man from Leicester has been bailed as part of an investigation into a reported shooting in Evington Road, Leicester.
Detectives are continuing to appeal for information surrounding the incident.
The male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the Birmingham area on Friday evening.
Police said:
"The two men currently remain in hospital receiving ongoing treatment. One remains in a serious condition while the other man sustained injuries which are not deemed to be life threatening.
"Detectives are continuing to appeal for information surrounding the incident in particular from three people who were standing on the corner of Evington Road and Chepstow Road at the time the shots were fired and from the driver of a passing white saloon car."
