"Unexplained" death on railway at Chesterfield

An investigation's underway after a death on the railway in Chesterfield.

Police were called out to reports of a casualty on the line on Thursday morning (16th November).

Officers from the Derbyshire force, British Transport Police and paramedics attended but the person was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.

No further details have been released at this stage.
