WATCH: Pun-tastic Star Wars weather forecast - a Leia of cloud covers the UK
If you’re forced to awaken early tomorrow morning it will be on the dark side.
It's not often that weather presenters get the chance to use puns in their forecasts, however Sian Welby on Channel 5 has broken the mould.
While presenting yesterday's weather Sian racked up a massive 10 Star Wars puns in just 40 seconds while still giving a factual forecast. In fact if you don't know anything about Star Wars you might not have noticed anything different about the straight-faced forecast, with not even wink at the end!
The puns included, “if you’re forced to awaken early tomorrow morning it will be on the dark side" and "far, far away towards the south east of England there’s a new hope for some sunshine."
Top marks to Sian for her effort with the weather forecast, to our knowledge it's the first time the weather has taken on a Star Wars twist.
Watch out for the Leia of cloud.
